What we collect

Your name and email; your career profile (current role, experience, education level, preferences, weekly availability, optional salary ranges and constraints); your assessment answers, simulation submissions, scores, roadmap progress, and coach conversations.

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, full date of birth, bank details, health information, or demographic attributes, and we never use protected characteristics to rank careers.

How we use it

Only to provide the service: matching you to adjacent roles, building your plan, evaluating your work, and coaching you. Product analytics record events (for example, "completed a quiz") with ids and scores, never what you typed.

AI processing

When AI features are enabled, relevant parts of your profile, plan, and submissions are sent to our AI provider to generate explanations, feedback, and coaching. We send the minimum needed for each request.

Your controls

You can edit your profile at any time, export all your data as JSON from Account settings, and delete your account. Deletion permanently removes your profile, progress, submissions, portfolio, and coach history; analytics events are kept only in anonymized form.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. Deleted accounts are removed immediately from the live database and age out of encrypted backups within the backup retention window (planned: 30 days). Rate-limit records are kept for one day. Admin audit logs are retained for at least one year.
